Bees@UniMelb

One third of all the food we eat is pollinated by bees. Many of the fruits, vegetables and tree nuts (such as almonds) we consume rely on the interaction of blossom and bee.

Bees@UniMelb is a new initiative that aims to educate staff and students about bees and beekeeping on campus.

Our current beehive sites are located on the rooftop of 757 Swanston Street, the System Garden, and at the VCA (Southbank).
