Process: Although it is environmentally preferable to use rechargeable batteries, all batteries
have a finite life. When your batteries have run out, instead of throwing them in the bin and sending them to the normal landfill, where they can cause ground contamination in years to come they can be sent for disposal to a sealed landfill by sending them via internal mail to 'Bio21', marked
'Batteries for Safe Disposal' . Please ensure packages of batteries weigh no more than 2kg.
