Recycling and Waste Management
Toner Cartridge Recycling
Disposal Method: Close the Loop
Process: This program is provided by Close the Loop, and coordinated at the University by the stationery supplier Lyreco.
Each location will be provided with a Starter Kit, which will include a collection box, pre-labelled liners, ties and instructions including how to arrange for full boxes to be collected.
To obtain a toner cartridge recycling box, your department's Lyreco account holder/s should contact: Sonia Barros, National Account Manager, Lyreco, Ph. 0402 113 000.
To enquire about Lyreco accounts, please contact the Purchasing Manager via the University Stationery Store website [University network login required].
Please note: CartCollect has ceased to provide toner cartridge recycling services to the University of Melbourne as of June 2008. We appreciate your using the Close the Loop service as it allows us to engage in centralised reporting of recycling volumes.
