End of Trip Facilities
University of Melbourne promotes the use of more sustainable modes of transport. The provision of suitable end of trip facilities – bike parking, shower and change facilities and ready access to drinking water – is important in enabling staff and students to find alternatives to travelling to University by car.

End of Trip Facilities - Parkville
The following End of Trip facilities are available for use by students, staff and visitors in and around Parkville campus.
Bicycle Parking
You will find a map of the Parkville precinct showing all current General and Restricted Access Bicycle Parking at:

General Access Bicycle Parking
The Parkville precinct now has 85 locations (903 spaces) of general access bicycle parking. Most of these locations are on the main campus with further spaces available south of Grattan St and near the campus perimeters.
Restricted Access Bicycle Parking
There are also 13 locations (326 spaces) of restricted access bicycle parking around the Parkville precinct. These spaces are inside buildings and/or require permission to access.
If you need to establish access to a restricted parking area, please contact the relevant Building Supervisor as listed on the Property and Campus Services website:

End of Trip Facilities - Burnley
The following End of Trip facilities are available for use by students, staff and visitors at Burnley campus. Refer to Getting to Burnley for help with locations.
Bicycle Parking
Bicycle Parking at Burnley is located behind the Student Amenities building (no. 908).
Shower/Change Facilities
Showers are provided as part of the men’s and women’s toilet facilities in the Main Building (no. 901).
