New conservation legislation

Monitoring legislative compliance
The University's Environmental Aspects and Impacts Register is formulated so that it acts as a compliance tracking tool for EHS legal requirements. One of the ways that the EHS Unit monitors changes to legal requirements is a subscription to the environmental legal requirements database, Enviro Law. Staff using computers on the University domain can access the University's Enviro Law subscription via the EHS Unit website.
Monitoring standards compliance
The EHS Unit engages in continuous monitoring of changes to Australian Standards and other standards that may have implications for its operations.
University staff and students can access the University Library's subscription to SAI Global Standards Library - login with your University email username and password. NB the University's subscription allows three concurrent users at once. At times of high use, you may need to try again later to access this service.
The University's compliance with relevant environmental standards is also monitored as part of the maintenance of the University's ISO 14001 certification.
