Universitas 21 Statement on Sustainability
The Universitas 21 Statement on Sustainability (often shortened to the U21 Statement on Sustainability) is a document signed by The University of Melbourne and research-led universities from around the world that we benchmark against. By signing the document, the universities commit to progressing global sustainable development in five areas:
a) Research towards sustainable futures
b) Education for sustainability
c) Universities as living laboratories for sustainability
d) Enhancing citizenship and engagement
e) Building capacity through cross network collaboration and action.
