Ever wondered about where your coffee comes from? Or how your daily caffeine habits affect some of the world's poorest people? To raise awareness on the impacts of our purchasing decisions and the importance of choosing Fairtrade products, the UoM Fairtrade Steering Committee is hosting a screening of the award winning documentary 'Dukale's Dream', starring Hugh Jackman.

Come along and follow Hugh's journey to see how something as simple as your morning coffee can make such powerful impacts to others, and the inspirational tale of one young man trying to lift his family out of poverty.

The event will also include a guest speaker from the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand.

At Melbourne, students and staff will enjoy greater choice through fair trade options – for coffee, tea, chocolate, and other products – for those who prefer to buy or consume fair trade products.
