Billibellary's Walk
A cultural interpretation of the Parkville campus landscape that provides an experience of connection to country which Wurundjeri people continue to have both physically and spiritually.
Learn about the Indigenous history of our campus by taking a guided tour of Billibellary’s walk. It will enable you to reflect on the University of Melbourne as an Aboriginal space and part of Wurundjeri country.
The walk is intended to operate as a self guided walk using the Billibellary’s Walk smartphone application and/or downloadable map and narrative.
Self-guided tours
- Learn about the University’s built environment as a place of belonging for Aboriginal people
- Open to University staff and students as well as the general public
- Duration: approximately one hour
