Supported by the wider university, we work to engage our community and provide infrastructure and services that improve the sustainability of our campuses. Sustainability at the University of Melbourne is performed broadly across two teams within the Chief Financial Officer Group (COO).
Sustainability, Campus Management
The Sustainability Team, Campus Management, works to advance the University of Melbourne as an exemplar of a sustainable, equitable community through our campus operations, buildings and landscapes – and to engage our students and staff in opportunities to learn and collaborate through on-campus action. More teams are working on sustainability at UoM, which are listed below:
Energy, Campus Management
Sustainability Strategy, Cooperate Finance Property and Sustainability
The Sustainability Strategy team coordinates the implementation of the Sustainability Plan 2030, sustainability governance and reporting processes at the University. The team also supports sustainability more broadly across the university by providing input and expertise on capital projects, asset management, finance, development and other initiatives.
