Reduce single-use plastic during Plastic Free July!
Be a change maker by refusing single-use plastics during this month (and beyond!) and complete toolkit actions.

Plastic Free July promotes reducing the use of single-use plastics to keep our planet clean and free of plastic! Join this challenge by taking simple daily actions, swapping plastic items for reusable ones.
At the University, we have several initiatives to help reduce single-use plastic including:
Choose to Reuse
Reduce the impact of your lunch with our reusable dish service, the Choose to Reuse Plate Program. Simply ask your retailer to serve your meal on a reusable item.

Reuse Vending Machine
Staff, students and visitors can purchase a range of reusable items from our reuse vending machine on the Parkville campus.

Green Caffeen
Pick up a free reusable coffee cup next time you need a caffeine hit on campus, using the Green Caffeen app.

Green Impact Toolkit Action
What's more, by actively participating in the Plastic Free July 2022 campaign, you can log actions G023 and G025 in the Green Impact Teams Toolkit and actions G022 and G023* in the Green Impact Individuals Toolkit.
*Action G023 encourages participants to reduce all single-use plastics in their life. For more information, please see the toolkit.
